Poulmucka Road Races
These races were set up to cater for the growing number of running for Fun athletes with the first race an event where athletes predicted their finishing time and then ran the distace without the aid of a watch, no garmins then. These very popular races have gone for strength to strength since then and are now established events on the County Athletic calendar. The post race refreshments are always well worth the entry fee alone.
